Mystic Dreamer Tarot

SIX OF WANDS

A knight rides his armor-clad horse through a meadow carpeted with wildflowers and wands alive with new growth. His helmet feather is a bit bedraggled, indicating a hard-fought battle. His wand is topped with a wreath of victory. He has, indeed, faced a tough fight, but he has come through victorious and is humbly receiving recognition for his achievement.

This is a card of victory. Whatever you have set your hand to will prosper and you will be happy with your success. It will be personally satisfying but it will also be crowned with public recognition in some form. The acknowledgment will make this moment even sweeter.

If reversed, this card can indicate not receiving the accolades you expected and think you deserve. It can also mean the victory achieved did not bring the satisfaction you thought it would.

Use your intuition

  • The knight and his horse are clad in black. We usually think of heroes dressed in white. Does the black affect your response, or interpretation ot this card?
  • The raven on the back of the horse has a tired, crestfallen air about him. What role does that have in a card of victory?
